Coordinating a film shoot...
We have filmed hundreds of special features, meetings, commercials, live events, studio productions, promotional videos, documentaries and concerts. Our primary goal is to help you present your message to your viewers, and to do it as carefully and painlessly as possible. We accomplish this by planning the different phases of the project and taking into consideration the time and availability of the staff, talent, workers and the venue.
Planning & Pre-Production
From coordinating the schedule, to setting up the equipment and planning the shots, our team is ready to guide you through the entire process of completing your project. We create a shot list and a schedule for you and the talent so everyone is aware of the agenda, and what the topic or focus of the take is. When it comes to live events, we set up a timeline and rundown of each section of the production so every second is accounted for.
Location Scouting and Review
When it comes to locations, we’ve seen a lot in our time! We have set up film shoots inside of hospitals, restaurants, book stores, retail outlets, pharmacies, office buildings, houses, and more! If we are headed into an unknown location for a first visit, we do our best to make a courtesy visit early on. This scouting is so that we can check on lighting, and electrical status, ambient noise concerns, foot traffic and available set up space. It’s also a nice way to plan for shots ahead of time so we can bring any additional props or gear if needed.
On-Site Production
From a single person team to staff of up to 7 or 8, we have had production crews of all sizes. Once we are on site and ready for the production to start, your Phlume MEDIA staff will Direct the day, keeping all parties involved aware of the next steps. Timing and scheduling of talent for on-camera roles, camera operations, and required shot lists, audio and lighting needs, intake and greeting of talent… if there is a job to do, our team will do it.
Post-Production and Wrap
When the cameras are put away and all of the lights are off, out team is only 1/2 done. We take the footage we filmed and work in the office to put together a final product that you are proud to share everywhere. Background audio and voice-over work, graphics and special effects, color correction and video editing… we bring all of the pieces together to deliver a finished product for you to review. Let us know what needs to be polished and adjusted, and we will finalize the last few tweaks and turn over the finished results.
